Since xdvi can call gs to produce postscript output on the previewer,
I was wondering if it could be generalized a bit more.

Xdvi works just fine for epsf or literal postscript.  However, my
situation is a bit different.  I have a bit of PS code that draws the
company logo.  Currently, this code is incorporated using either
\special{header=...}  or \special{! <ps code>}.  Then the logo is
drawn using something like \special{" /logo} at the appropriate
places.

Currently, xdvi sends just \special{" /logo} to gs.  Of course /logo
is undefined since it never received the definition contained in the
header file.

Can xdvi be modified to handle this situation?  Perhaps by sending all
header files and \special{! stuff to gs?  Is this even possible
without causing other problems?
